NNSA Livermore Site Office
The NNSA Livermore Site Office (LSO) website was built to establish an online presence for LSO. LSO's Office of Public Affairs wanted a simple but attractive website. Except for new press releases, the site hasn't changed very much since it's launch in 2003.

The Design
The site features a liquid two column layout. Global navigation wasn't necessary because of the limited content available, but a horizontal global navigation could be inserted above the gray breadcrumb bar. The blue and green color palette supports the LSO's efforts to promote environmental awareness.
The Code
The site was developed using transitional XHTML for structure and CSS Level 2 for layout and presentation. The site meets the accessibility requirements outlined in Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
